Sharon joined Washington University in 2021, as the Senior Communications Specialist in the Office of Data Governance. Sharon brings 20+ years of strategic communication, instruction, project management, organization development, and systems implementation experiences.
Sharon is passionate about building collaborative partnerships while communicating with university stakeholders to further enhance WashU’s Data Governance movement. She works daily with her Office of Data Governance Team and WashU leadership to creatively develop and manage content to be socialized in alignment with business objectives.
Sharon achieved a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and a master’s in health administration from St. Louis University.
When she’s not thinking of creative ways to promote WashU’s Office of Data Governance you will likely find her at an area ice rink or athletic field, watching her family play sports.
