Updated Reporting for Non-Capital Project Budget vs Actuals & Additional Reports

The following reports have been modified to move the Contingency Funding line item from the Expenses block to its own separate line item. This change will align with other reporting that groups contingent funds separately from expenses to reflect a true free balance for WashU Medicine. The regrouping will not affect reporting results for other schools that do not utilize contingent funds. Log into Collibra to review terms and definitions for the reports linked below.

Managing Positions to Assist With Minimum Wage Increase
Effective January 1, 2025, Missouri Minimum Wage will increase to $13.75 per hour. Central HR will load an EIB to increase the hourly rate of workers currently below the new minimum to the new minimum wage. Action Required:
To assist in these efforts, Departmental HR Partners, Departmental HR Partner Leads, and Student HR Partners must review student and temporary workers in their departments and end positions that will no longer be needed after January 1, 2025. Run RPT1374 – WU – Students & Staff Below Minimum Wage to check for workers below the minimum wage and RPT6678 – WU – Active Workers with No Pay Results within a Date Range to find workers that have not been paid for a given amount of time and end unneeded positions. Use the Termination or End Additional Job business processes to end these positions by December 13, 2024, to ensure that the correct impacted positions are updated with the new minimum wage.
