If you have existing scheduled reports or other items in Cognos, you will need to renew your credentials as soon after the upgrade as possible. Any existing schedules you have at the time of the upgrade will fail until your credentials are renewed.
Here’s how to renew your credentials in Cognos:
- After logging in, find the Personal menu in the upper right-hand corner.
- Open the personal menu and select Profile and Settings (found directly under your name and email).
- In the Profile tab next to Credentials, select Renew.
- You will see a confirmation when the update is complete (may take 2-3 seconds).
