Everyone working with technology knows that sometimes things don’t go as expected. Fortunately, the WashU Service Delivery Model (SDM) is available to address issues and service requests. The Integration Support page details how to get assistance using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
Service Now
The WashU IT Service Now Portal is a self-service website for requesting IT services and equipment, searching for IT solutions, and reporting IT issues. Any integration related assistance request must be initiated via Service Now.
Typical issues related to integrations may include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshooting a failed integration
- Assistance with Anypoint Access or Postman configuration
- Requesting an enhancement to a current integration
- Request a new integration
If you are already familiar with Service Now functionality, please use one of the links below to request support. Your Service Now incident will be routed to the SDM Integrations team.

Workday
WashU is replacing our aging Human Resources, Finance and Student administrative systems with a single, integrated, cloud-based system. Workday, a market leader in this area, is our chosen provider for the new system. Through Workday, faculty and staff can access one true source of information when making strategic decisions.
As mentioned above, Workday is the source of truth and provides the data for the WashU APIs. Workday and WashU APIs are not the same thing. Please visit the Integrations Glossary or the API Help Document page to learn more.
If you want to learn more about Workday please visit Workday Help. The site contains HCM and FIN tutorials, Workday Information Sessions, and Workday eLearning modules.
